OTI Classic Volleyball League

 There will be no games Christmas week but we will be playing the following week. New Year's Eve also next Friday's games will be played on a Monday. This week and I will have the schedule up soon.

 One of our original and most loyal volleyball players has run an ironman race (2.4 mile swim,112 mile   bike and 26.2 mile run) for the benefit of her father who has Parkinsons and could use our help.  The season will start this coming week.   As stated previously the School Yahd has a new person doing their scheduling. Unfortunately they           scheduled some corporate events on some of our Volleyball nights. In order to start our season next week we have to play those dates on a Monday evening. The Dates are as follows: Friday Oct.24, Friday Oct 31, Wed.Nov.12, Thur. Dec.4, Fri .Dec 12and Fri. Jan.2 Those dates will be played on the Monday of that week. We also discussed  that all Wed. teams will play one Thursday night game per season. Any team that receives a bye will make that bye up on a Monday night during the season so that all teams will play all ten games during the season. Any team that cannot or does not want to play under these conditions please let me know bye this weekend. I will be happy to give you your money back. I plan on having this weeks schedule posted this afternoon.

 A fall registration meeting will be held at the Millbury Old Time Inn on September 29th from 7 to 9pm. We plan on starting the week of October 13th. Teams are limited so sign up early to guarantee a spot. Registration forms can be found on Volleyball Peeps soon or contact me at 508-873-3006 or wbergeron33@gmail.com for a copy. They also will be available at the meeting. WE WILL BE PLAYING WEDNESDAY THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. THIS YEAR, WEDNESDAY, NIGHT BEING THE INTERMEDIATE ADVANCED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY BEING INTERMEDIATE BEGINNING. UNFORTUNATELY, WE WON'T HAVE A WOMAN'S DIVISION BUT ALL WOMEN TEAMS ARE FREE TO PLAY IN THE LEAGUE. If they choose to.
